Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Camera ZOOM FX is made by Watch Faces & Widgets Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Camera ZOOM FX apps for Android and iPhone. The short version: there are no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and your photos stay on your phone.
No accounts, ads or analytics
You don’t need an account and there’s nothing to sign in to. The app shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking. We don’t collect your name, email address or any other personal details through the app.
Your photos
Photos you take or edit are saved to your phone’s gallery (on Android) or your Photos library (on iPhone). The app does not upload your photos anywhere, and we never see them.
Permissions, and what each is used for
- Camera: used only to take photos.
- Microphone: used only for the optional voice-activated shutter, which measures how loud it is, so a loud enough sound can take the picture. Audio is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. If you don’t use the voice-activated shutter, the app doesn’t need the microphone.
- Location: used only if you switch on geotagging, or add a place to the date stamp. The location is written into the photo’s own metadata, on your phone. If you choose “Address” for the date stamp, your phone’s built-in geocoder (provided by Google on Android and Apple on iPhone) may be asked to turn the coordinates into a street name; that request is handled under Google’s or Apple’s own privacy policy. With geotagging and places turned off, the app doesn’t use your location.
- Photo library (iPhone): used to list and edit the photos the app has taken.
You can turn any of these permissions off at any time in your phone’s settings.
Crash reports
When the Android app crashes, it sends a crash report through Firebase Crashlytics, a service from Google, so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains technical details only: the stack trace (where in the code the crash happened), your device model and your Android version. It contains no photos and no personal content. Google processes these reports on our behalf; see Firebase’s privacy information.
On iPhone, if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may pass us crash reports through its built-in crash reporting. That’s controlled by you, in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Settings
Your settings and preferences in the app are stored on your phone only.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or share your personal data.
- We don’t upload, see or store your photos.
- We don’t record audio.
- We don’t track you or show you ads.
Children
Camera ZOOM FX isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because the app keeps your photos and settings on your phone, you’re in control of them: deleting the app removes its settings, and your photos stay in your gallery until you delete them. If you have any question about your data, or want to exercise your rights under data protection law, email admin.androidslide@gmail.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. See also our Terms of Use.
